ROSANA / CRITICAL SOURCING

Bulk food and staple ingredient sourcing

A regional supply disruption, production requirement or large-volume purchase can create different requirements for the same product. Rosana assesses business food procurement requests by product standard, delivery schedule and destination requirements; this list does not indicate live stock availability.

Before purchasing

Define the product category

Food processing ingredients and products ready for the end consumer require different packaging and quality specifications. The product category, composition, allergen information and required analyses should be stated in the specification.

Shelf life matters at the delivery point

Provide the minimum remaining shelf life accepted on arrival as well as the production date requirements. Storage conditions, label language, pack size and batch traceability form part of the commercial assessment.

Include in your enquiry

Buyer questions

Do you consider both one-off and recurring purchases?

You can submit requests for either. Separating the quantity per shipment, total programme volume and delivery intervals helps clarify the sourcing enquiry. Ongoing supply is agreed only after sources and contract terms have been confirmed.

Does this mean every listed product is currently in short supply?

No. This scope supports the assessment of business purchasing needs. Supply conditions vary by product, region and date; stock, suitability and shipping options are checked separately for each request.

We make no firm stock, price or delivery commitments until availability, product authenticity, origin, quality documentation and delivery terms have been verified. Supply is subject to applicable trade rules, required authorisations and an assessment of end use.

Brand and model names are used to identify products; they do not indicate authorised reseller status, a partnership or available stock. Images are illustrative.
